Biography
Maryam Ebrahimzadeh, a 45-year-old ceramic artist and jeweler and mother of a 14-year-old son, was killed on January 9, 2026, in Punak, Tehran. While protesting and shouting slogans, she was shot by Islamic Republic agents with pellet bullets to her heart and lung. Her husband, Hossein Rezvani, who was with her, was also killed. Ebrahimzadeh, who had previously been arrested during the 2022 protests, was buried in Torbat-e Heydarieh.
مریم ابراهیمزاده، هنرمند سرامیککار و جواهرساز ۴۵ ساله و مادر پسری ۱۴ ساله، در ۱۹ دی ۱۴۰۴ در پونک تهران کشته شد. او در حین اعتراض و شعار دادن، بر اثر اصابت گلولههای ساچمهای ماموران جمهوری اسلامی به قلب و ریهاش جان باخت. همسرش، حسین رضوانی، که همراه او بود نیز به قتل رسید. ابراهیمزاده که پیشتر در اعتراضات ۱۴۰۱ بازداشت شده بود، در تربت حیدریه به خاک سپرده شد.
